Sade's Pies are delicious hand-held savory pies that give you a taste of Nigeria. These pies come in different flavors and serve different purposes. They are perfect as a standalone meal or as a snack and even served as finger food at events.
Ingredients: Flour, butter, water, eggs, seasoned ground beef / seasoned ground chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, and pepper.
Treats by Sade specializes in making frozen pre-baked Nigerian pastries called Sade's Pie.
Bake-at-Home:
For the tastiest pies, we recommend oven only, never microwave. Do Not Thaw at room temperature or in the fridge.
- Preheat oven to 375° F
- Place pies on a parchment paper or foil-lined baking pan/tray
- For 1-5 pies bake 40-45 minutes; for 6-15 pies bake for 50-55 minutes.
For crunchy golden-brown tasty pies bake for an extra 5-10 minutes. If you are not going to consume them immediately, you can keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat with the oven only, never microwave.
